Food, drinks and entrance ticket to Kravica waterfalls (11€ per adults; 5,11€ per children 7-18yo; under 6yo free of charge) which you should pay directly at the entrance in the local currency or with credit card, border crossing 5€ per person

Tips and additional info

  • Valid passport is required for this tour as you will be crossing a border.
  • Bring your backpack for food, drinks, sunscreen and a camera.
  • Do not forget the swimsuit if you decide to swim in Kravica Waterfall.
  • Please dress accordingly as there is a temeprature difference between the countries.
  • Note that the duration of tour is approximate since the duration depends on the road and weather conditions.
  • We reserve the right to change the program in case of the bad weather.

Description of the tour

Embark on a journey to Mostar where the centuries-old Stari Most bridge gracefully spans the turquoise Neretva River, inviting you to discover a city of rich history, vibrant culture and warm hospitality and then venture to the captivating Kravica waterfalls to enjoy a day of natural splendor in a awe-inspiring beauty.

Your journey starts from the main meeting point where the professional driver will pick you up with a high standard air-conditioned vehicle. The journey between Split and Mostar unveils diverse landscapes that showcase the natural beauty of the region. As you traverse this route, you’ll encounter picturesque scenes ranging from coastal views to rugged mountainous terrain. It takes approximatley 2,5h to come to Mostar. Along the way you will have a quick break.

In Mostar you will see the coexistence of culture between Muslims, Christians and Jews and unique Islamic architecture that stands as a symbol of tolerance. When you arrive at the Old town, the driver will introduce you to your local professional guide and than you will take 1,5h walking tour through the town with a licenced tour guide.

Local guide in Mostar will often share fascinating stories that bring the city’s history and culture to life. Walking through the streets will lead you to the Stari Most bridge which stands as a living testament to Mostar’s history, resilience and the enduring spirit of reconciliation. Stari Most was commissioned by the Ottoman ruler Suleiman the Magnificent and completed in 1566 under the supervision of the architect Mimar Hayruddin and it is a prime example of Ottoman architecture. Stari Most is known for the tradition of Mostar diving (Stari Most diving). Local daredevils, known as “mostari,” showcase their bravery by jumping off the bridge into the Neretva River during an annual diving competition and that often calls “Mostar souvenier”. You will also get to know every corner of the town and the lively Old Bazaar, lined with cobblestone streets and traditional shops where you can explore local crafts, souvenirs and taste Bosnian delicacies.

After the guided tour you will have a few fours of a free time to explore Mostar by your own. Your guide will recommend you the most famous restaurants with a local cousine. The driver will pick you up at the agreed location and time from where you will proceed to amazing natural wonder, Kravica waterfalls, where you can enjoy the amazing landscapes and perhaps even jump into the refreshing river.

After some free time at Kravica waterfalls you will return to Split full of experiences from the unique day. The drop off would be at the main meeting point in Split or at your accommodation if it is on the way.
